The stuff pack succeeds at offering Sims 3 fans with various new clothing styles to try and furniture items to place about their houses, yet lacks ultimately with the amount of included content. Many of the added decade-inspired items in the stuff pack work well when placed among other newer furniture in Sims' houses, which results in an interesting fusion of retro and modern visual styles. Rounding out the added objects is a hanging fireplace that ties the entire visual style together. While most of the added furniture items are quite flashy such as the enormous stereo and neon wall lights, there are more subtle items to be found in the stuff pack including retro 80s posters and stylish sofas and chairs. The yesteryear inspiration continues with furniture from each of the 70s, 80s and 90s decades that are perfectly suited for transforming any modern Sim's home into a time machine warp. Along with the new outfits, there are a few added hairstyles and face paints such as stars and lightning that complete the stuff pack's visual style. The layered, messy appearance of the grunge outfits and 80s workout attire are the standouts among the included clothing items. ![]() All of the included clothing items are highly polished in both their models and textures and allow for further editing of their colors and patterns for complete user customization. Most of the outfits are found in the everyday category, along with a few others such as some workout clothing items. In terms of clothing, an array of new tops and bottoms are included that vary from the iconic 80s legwarmers and leotard workout combination to bell-bottoms and platform shoes for those nightly visits to the disco. ![]()
